Job summary

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Palo Alto firewalls and network security controls.
• Create, maintain, and troubleshoot firewall security policies.
• Manage Prisma Access and SCM configurations.
• Support Microsoft Defender security technologies including Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, Microsoft Defender XDR and DLP.
• Investigate and resolve complex cybersecurity incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions.
• Support vulnerability remediation activities.
• Troubleshoot email security, mail flow, security detections, and enforcement policies.

About the Role

Ingeniworx is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to support enterprise cybersecurity operations for U.S.-based environments.

This is a hands-on engineering role responsible for Palo Alto firewall administration, Microsoft Defender security operations, incident response, email security, DLP, vulnerability remediation, and security platform integration.

The successful candidate will serve as a senior technical escalation point, work directly with U.S.-based teams, and help improve security controls, operational processes, and platform stability.

This position requires daily collaboration during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Palo Alto firewalls and network security controls.
• Create, maintain, and troubleshoot firewall security policies.
• Manage Prisma Access and Security Cloud Manager (SCM) configurations.
• Support Microsoft Defender security technologies including:
• Defender for Endpoint
• Defender for Office 365
• Microsoft Defender XDR
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
• Investigate and resolve complex cybersecurity incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions.
• Support vulnerability remediation activities.
