Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a Senior-Level Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. This on-site role is located at NSWC Dahlgren, Virginia, and requires active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

You will develop cybersecurity requirements and guidance for combat systems, lead threat analyses, and coordinate policy efforts across multi-classification environments. The ideal candidate has Navy systems experience and DoD IA knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5 years program-specific security engineering experience or 10 years general experience.
• IAT Level II or higher per DoD 8570.01; Privileged user requirements as applicable.
• Knowledge of DoD IA policies and ability to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop cybersecurity requirements, standards, guidance for combat systems.
• Conduct cybersecurity research and analysis across classification levels.
• Lead groups to develop cybersecurity strategies against threats.
• Analyze policy gaps for cybersecurity, intelligence and IT.
• Design, analyze and document cybersecurity for combat systems.
• Develop risk assessments and mitigation plans for combat systems.
• Document requirements, gap/threat analyses, and risk mitigation.
• Use MBSE models to perform cybersecurity analysis.
