PayPal in Austin, TX is seeking a Security Engineer to apply security best practices across our systems, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives and strengthen defenses.

You will analyze threats, resolve security challenges, and influence engineering decisions to improve product security while aligning with business objectives.

This role offers a balanced hybrid work model with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, plus additional compensation incentives where applicable.

Qualifications

• 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsabilités

• Independently apply security best practices to enhance and optimize systems.
• Partner with peers and internal teams to drive security initiatives.
• Analyze and resolve security challenges by adapting standard processes.
