Job summary

CDM Smith Inc. seeks a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to safeguard software for critical water utilities. You will merge cybersecurity with DevSecOps, embedding security in the SDLC and driving threat detection and vulnerability management.

You will partner with engineering teams to protect cloud-native environments, perform advanced monitoring and incident response, and help mature the security program across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 6 years of cybersecurity experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Equivalent related experience considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced security monitoring and develop custom rules to detect threats.
• Lead incident response for complex events including forensics and root-cause analysis.
• Design and execute vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on infrastructure and applications.
• Remediate vulnerabilities with IT and software development teams to strengthen secure coding in the SDLC.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team capability development.
