The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer leverages in-depth understanding and experience in cybersecurity requirements development, cyber threat analysis, cyber engineering, cyber systems architecture development and cybersecurity policy development experience. to facilitate security engineering tasks in support of the customer’s system security objectives.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
High school diploma with a minimum of 13 years of experience.
Must possess current TS Clearance and be SCI eligible.
Requires a minimum of 5 years program specific security engineering experience working with Navy afloat/tactical combat systems or 13 years of general security engineering experience.
IAT Level II or Level III certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01 or successor.
Possess the ability to:
Familiarity with cybersecurity requirements, policy standards, best practices, guidance and procedures applied to combat systems.
Understanding of cybersecurity, military system specifications, DoD IA policies for both Land Based and afloat/tactical systems, and the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in written and oral presentations.
Must be proficient in the use of the MS Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio) and other tools to develop required system documentation.
Recent cybersecurity engineering experience.
Familiarity with Naval Combat Systems.
Bachelor’s (BS/BA) degree.
