Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant in the Cybersecurity/Data Protection & Privacy space in the United States. You will lead data protection strategies, implement solutions for privacy and data integrity, and work with an international team on complex, full lifecycle engagements.

Your role involves defining technical requirements, implementing data protection technologies, and advising clients on governance, classification, and privacy policies while supporting business resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 2–3 years of related experience or a graduate degree with 1–2 years of related experience.
• 2–3 years of technical architecture experience integrating data protection software into client environments.
• Knowledge of security concepts: vulnerability assessments, governance, data classification, incident response.
• Basic networking (TCP/IP), OS fundamentals, security technologies and scripting languages (C, Java, Perl, Shell).
• Demonstrated experience in multiple areas: data leakage prevention, DRM, encryption, PKI, data classification, etc.

Responsibilities

• Define technical and business requirements for data protection solutions.
• Develop business processes and policies for data access control.
• Help identify and protect critical data across the data lifecycle.
• Implement and advise on multiple data protection products and solutions.
