Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent experience
• Minimum 6 years of cybersecurity/IT experience
• Minimum 5 years of cyber security guidance/oversight
• Minimum 5 years of cyber security risk assessments/architecture reviews
• Minimum 4 years of cloud security experience

Responsibilities

• Act as a central Information Security point of contact for the Global Payment Networks line of business
• Coordinate proactive Information Security consulting covering Infrastructure Security, Resiliency, Data Security, Network Architecture and User Access Management
• Serve as an expert in Capital One’s Information Security capabilities, policies, procedures and standards
• Collaborate with enterprise cyber teams and tech architects to define cyber architecture strategy and guiding principles
• Support security architecture and implementation for modernization efforts
• Oversee cyber dependencies across modernization components
• Influence customers to shift security left in development processes
• Escalate and manage cyber security risk
• Provide updates to executive leadership on information security health and risk environment
• Map technologies to a standardized framework for risk reduction and tooling gaps actions
