Job summary

Ferrovial Corporate US, LLC in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to build and lead a comprehensive cybersecurity program for CINTRA USA. You will define strategies, secure IT/OT assets, and align with ISO 27001/NIST CSF while coordinating across subsidiaries and joint ventures.

Responsibilities include managing security projects, vendor oversight, and driving GRC improvements, audits (SOC 2 and PCI), and business continuity planning in a global enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in CS/Engineering/IT or related field.
• Four years of related work experience.
• Experience managing complex cybersecurity environments and incidents through full lifecycle.
• Experience deploying ISO 27001 and NIST CSF environments.
• Addressing legal/compliance risks including GRC.
• Defining and improving security architectures, risk models, and services in corporate/international settings.
• Architectures including SASE and Zero Trust.
• ICS/OT/IoT integration in enterprise architectures.
• Experience with major as-a-service providers (AWS, Azure, Bluemix, Google Cloud, Cloudera, Atlas/Mongo).
• Developing, maintaining, testing Business Continuity Plans and Disaster Recovery.

Responsibilities

• Develop a cybersecurity practice at CINTRA USA by defining and implementing a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy.
• Provide security for CINTRA IT/OT systems and protect against attacks.
• Negotiate contracts and terms related to cybersecurity baseline for subsidiaries and joint ventures.
• Oversee security measures and controls for products and services developed through digital initiatives.
• Manage security projects, benchmarks, and proof-of-concepts.
• Oversee cybersecurity vendors, audits (SOC 2 and PCI), and strengthen GRC processes.
