Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Cyber Security Architect to join the Air Traffic Business Area. You will define security architecture for a large-scale hybrid cloud platform supporting national air traffic operations, and lead FedRAMP and ATO activities.

The role emphasizes AI-first engineering, DevSecOps integration, risk assessments, and protection of real-time distributed services. Travel and security clearances may apply.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of cybersecurity experience with enterprise platforms.
• Strong FedRAMP, RMF, and NIST 800-53 knowledge.
• Experience leading ATO efforts for federal systems.
• Cloud security expertise in AWS and/or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the cybersecurity architecture for the L-CAP platform.
• Develop and execute FedRAMP compliance strategy across cloud environments.
• Lead ATO planning and execution activities.
• Conduct threat modeling and vulnerability assessments across platform components.
• Design zero trust architecture across the enterprise.
• Establish security controls aligned to NIST 800-53.
• Integrate security into DevSecOps pipelines and CI/CD.
• Provide cybersecurity governance across four ARTs.
• Define security requirements for platform services and application teams.
• Perform risk assessments and mitigations for emerging threats.
• Secure real-time ATC services and inter-service communication.
• SBOM generation and software supply chain integrity controls.
• AI-assisted development capabilities and automation.
