Job summary

Visual Soft, Inc is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst/Incident Handler at a Senior level for an onsite federal agency project in Huntsville, AL. This role requires an active Top Secret clearance and US citizenship.

You will monitor external cyber threat data, triage intelligence from multiple sources, and communicate timely insights to stakeholders to improve the organization's security posture. Standard benefits and potential 1099 options may be available.

Qualifications

• 8 years of professional cybersecurity experience.
• Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security.
• Experience with Threat Hunting.
• Knowledge of Threat Actors.
• Experience with MITRE Framework.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze external cyber threat data to provide actionable intelligence for client systems.
• Triage information from threat intelligence sources and study attack patterns, methodologies, and threat landscape.
• Support to enhance the organization's cybersecurity posture by delivering timely, relevant information to stakeholders.
