Dahl Consulting is seeking a Senior Engineer to join its Cybersecurity AI Activation & Engineering team in Brooklyn Park, MN. This contract role focuses on secure, scalable software development, automation, and AI-enabled services in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will design, build, deploy, and support production-grade applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams while adhering to engineering standards and practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Java or Kotlin, preferably Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and tooling.
• Experience building microservices and REST APIs in production.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deployment.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable production services and APIs.
• Build and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs per enterprise standards.
• Implement automation and AI-enabled tooling where applicable.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborative development using GitHub.
