Job summary

GCI is seeking a highly motivated Cyber Technical Analyst to join the team in the United States. The role focuses on analyzing cyber threat intelligence, driving collection efforts, and developing domain expertise to inform operational decisions.

The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of experience, strong data analysis skills, and the ability to communicate complex findings to diverse audiences. A US citizen with TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate complex information to varied technical audiences.
• Experience with data analysis, research, and intelligence gathering tools and platforms.
• Experience analyzing data to extract actionable insights for operational decisions.
• Experience with media triage/exploitation.
• Ability to sort, catalog, and analyze multiple forms of data.
• Experience with network traffic analysis using tools like Wireshark.
• Ability to develop complex queries to distill large unstructured data for targeting and operations.
• Experience exploiting unstructured data.
• Experience in computer network forensics, network administration, cyber security, or large-scale data analysis.
• Experience documenting findings and data value in knowledge management systems.
• Experience using disparate data collections to support operations requirements.
• Strong investigative skills to perform independent analysis on diverse data sets.
• Ability to extract insights to support intelligence gathering and decision-making.
• Reading Spanish language text and translating to English summaries.

Responsibilities

• Analyze cyber threat intelligence from existing sources to drive further collection efforts.
• Develop and maintain domain expertise to produce intelligence insights for operational decisions.
• Drive intelligence gathering across multiple sources to support cybersecurity operations and identify opportunities.
• Communicate intelligence findings and produce written reports.
