Job summary

ASM Research seeks a seasoned cybersecurity professional to lead investigations of complex incidents and define security objectives for system-level performance. You will research vulnerabilities, configure secure systems, maintain incident programs, and support ST&E activities across government-grade platforms.

Required are 8–15 years in security, a CS degree or related field, and strong communication to present technical findings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8–15 years of experience in systems security.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to present technical findings.
• Knowledge of encryption, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, cyber forensics, and incident response.
• Ability to interface with external entities including law enforcement and government agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigation of complex computer and information security incidents.
• Define security objectives and system-level performance requirements.
• Research tools and trends in computer network vulnerabilities.
• Configure and validate secure systems and test security products.
• Maintain incident, damage, and threat assessment programs.
• Manage Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) activities.
• Perform system audits and ensure corrective actions.
• Design and recommend integrated system solutions to protect data.
• Establish program controls to mitigate risks and support certification.
• Review processes and security protocols to improve protection.
