Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Marlborough, MA is seeking a security analytics engineer to analyze production issues, respond to bot attacks in real-time, and drive secure design across our ecommerce platform. You will leverage Akamai, security logs, and observability tools to identify attack patterns and improve reliability.

The role requires Java, Python, SQL skills, strong communication, and a proactive learning mindset.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in analyzing production issues and delivering RCA reports.
• Experience with Akamai and security-focused analysis.
• Experience triaging issues using application logs and security logs.
• Experience monitoring with New Relic or similar tools.
• Deep knowledge of e-commerce security design and architecture.
• Familiarity with SRE principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze bot attacks independently and respond in real-time to minimize service disruption.
• Identify and analyze attack patterns using Akamai, logs and other tools.
• Contribute to secure design and implementation of features for ecommerce platforms.
• Apply SRE practices to improve reliability, scalability, and security.
• Work with Java, Python, SQL and monitoring tools like Dataset and New Relic.
• Stay current with security trends and be ready to learn new tools and techniques.
• Create detailed reports and alerts from system logs and data analysis.
• Conduct security assessments and propose feature changes to enhance security.
• Lead discussions with vendors such as Akamai and Riskified to bolster security.
