Parsons is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer/ISSO to join our Federal Solutions team in support of the GMD program. You will develop security artifacts, validate RMF controls, and ensure artifacts are managed across the lifecycle.

You will mentor junior ISSOs, interface with senior management, and help plan large-scale cybersecurity efforts for DoD missions. A Secret clearance and extensive DoD experience are required.

Qualificações

• Active Secret clearance is required.
• Master's Degree in STEM with 12+ years on DoD missile defense or similar programs.
• Knowledge of RMF and Information Assurance problem solving.
• Ability to establish program control processes for certification and accreditation.

Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented,motivated, and customer-oriented Senior Cyber Security Engineer / Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to join our team!

In this role you will be part of Parsons’ Federal Solutions team providing Systems Engineering Technical Assistance to the Ground-based Midcourse Dense (GMD) Product Office under the Teams-Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering (TN-MDSE) contract managed by the Missile Defense Agency.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Serve as a member of the cybersecurity team, developing system Security Plans (SSPs), Interim Authority to Test (IATT), Authority to Connect (ATC) and,Authority to Operate (ATO) packages.
• Perform analysis to validate established security requirements and recommends additional security requirements and safeguards where required.
• Periodically conduct reviews of each system’s audits and monitors corrective actions until all actions are closed.
• Ensure that system security artifacts are developed, reviewed, and updated as needed.
• Confirmthat all RMF requirements are properly addressed and required artifacts are loaded and managed withinEnterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS).
• Interface with other cyber teams to review RMF Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and ensure timely delivery of CDRL artifacts, while providing feedback to ensure the sufficiency and quality of cyber artifacts.
• Perform vulnerability/risk analyses of systems using expertise in relevant information systems security.
• Track and monitor Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms).
• Conduct reviews of cybersecurity artifacts and technical briefings and work with customer to resolve any findings.
• Ensure that identified security controls are implemented and operating as intended through all phases of the lifecycle.
• Track deliverables (i.e., artifacts, schedules, and metrics).
• Contribute to and may lead the planning and implementation of large programs in the function and regularly interfaces with senior management and executive leadership.
• Lead, mentor, and provide guidance and instructional aide to Associate and Junior ISSOs.
• Assist in overall functional strategic planning.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Active Secret clearance
• Master's Degree in STEM and 12+ years working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program / project.
• Demonstrated abilities to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop actionable recommendations with effective solutions.
• Knowledge to perform technical work utilizing the Risk Management Framework (RMF) processincluding analyzing and solving Information Assurance (IA)-related technical problems.
• Ability to establish strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and supports for obtaining certification and accreditation of systems. This includes process support, analysis support, coordination support, security certification test support, security documentation support, investigations, software research, hardware introduction and release, emerging technology research inspections, and periodic audits.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Salary Range: $134,100.00 - $241,400.00
