Job summary

Constellation seeks a Principal Cyber Security Architect to lead security technology and reference architectures across IT and business units. You will translate regulatory and environmental conditions into security designs, and guide secure development, risk management, and policy implementation.

The role requires extensive experience in cyber security architecture, cloud platforms, and leadership, with a strong emphasis on enterprise-wide security strategy and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or a related discipline, and typically 8+ years of solid cyber security architecture and design experience.
• Expert knowledge of authentication, authorization, and access control methods.
• Expert knowledge of encryption algorithms and cryptography concepts.
• Expert knowledge of database systems and embedded systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and multi-cloud environments.
• Ability to design architectures and frameworks for security across development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and security expertise to identify security technology solutions and develop reference architectures.
• Design and develop enterprise-wide security architecture and strategy.
• Provide guidance in secure application development and risk assessment.
• Advise IT leadership on strategic security technology plans.
• Establish and maintain relationships with business and IT partners.
• Stay aware of trends in security, evaluate new technologies, and analyze their potential impact.
