Job summary

The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland is seeking aCybersecurity Analyst to support the CAST function in monitoring and responding to cyber incidents within supervised institutions and emerging threats to the U.S. financial sector.

You will work with CAST personnel, supervisory staff, and Board staff to assess risk and coordinate responses. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, CSF, 27001), incident management, cloud platforms, and threat intelligence.

Qualifications

• Analyst III requires a bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience or a master’s degree and 5+ years.
• Advanced ability to perform independent research and write reports.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity regulations, procedures, and practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze cybersecurity threats to identify trends and risks.
• Contribute to response activities during cyber incidents with best practices from regulatory bodies and NIST.
• Assess severity of incidents at financial institutions.
• Prepare written research and analyses for internal stakeholders.
• Mentor less experienced analysts and support knowledge sharing.
