Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst for a remote, US-based role. You will monitor, investigate, and respond to escalated security events, strengthening detection and response capabilities through automation and proactive threat hunting.

Responsibilities include developing incident response playbooks, maintaining SIEM/EDR operations, and enhancing cloud security monitoring across AWS, Azure, and GCP while aligning with MITRE ATT&CK and NIST frameworks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security operations or incident response
• Hands-on experience with SIEM and EDR platforms
• Knowledge of scripting or automation (Python or PowerShell)
• Experience with cloud security monitoring in AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and NIST frameworks
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Preferred certifications: GCIH, GCIA, GCFA, Security+, CySA+, or equivalent

This role will serve as a key security partner responsible for monitoring, investigating, and responding to escalated security events across the environment. You will help strengthen detection and response capabilities through automation, content optimization, and proactive threat hunting. The position also plays an important role in developing incident response processes and playbooks that support a more resilient security operation.
