Job summary

STR's Cyber Division in Woburn, MA is seeking a Senior Cyber RF Hardware Engineer to lead RF hardware development for HWIL/surrogate test systems in a TS-cleared environment. The role requires designing, analyzing, and characterizing hardware architectures to support software and hardware modeling efforts.

You will work with COTS and custom boards, develop rapid prototype RF solutions, use lab test equipment, and contribute to design reviews, test automation, and program estimates.

Qualifications

• Requires TS clearance or ability to obtain TS clearance.
• BS in EE or related with 5 years experience or MS with 3 years.
• Strong RF, analog, or digital circuit design knowledge.
• Experience leading hardware projects from concept to implementation.
• Experience presenting technical material to customers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop rapid prototype RF solutions from free space to bits using COTS and custom designs.
• Characterize and debug complex electronic systems using lab equipment.
• Prepare and execute test events for stakeholders.
• Lead lab-based acquisition and control platforms for test and characterization.
• Contribute to system architecture discussions on hardware and focused processor implementations.
• Support proposals with input on technical path, BOM/cost and schedule estimates.
