ICF is seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Range Engineer to support the Joint Cyber Training Enterprise (JCTE) at Ft. Meade, MD. You will serve as a SME for cyber range validation, range control, and system security, guiding architecture and event design.
You will work under pressure to drive actions, address ad-hoc customer requirements, and coordinate across platform functions, with required poly clearance and US citizenship.
ICF is actively recruiting for an experienced Senior Cyber Range Engineer for the Joint Cyber Training Enterprise (JCTE) and will be expected to be a subject matter expert for cyber range validation, and range control. Additionally, the ideal candidate will address ad-hoc customer related technical requirements and synchronizing priorities across the platform’s functional areas. You must thrive in high pressure situations and drive relevant teams to take the right actions. The Senior Cyber Range Engineer will provide subject matter expert guidance on cyber range development and execution, systems administration, cybersecurity, and account management support for the JCTE and report directly to the Chief, Engineer for JCTE. This work will be onsite supporting a program at Ft. Meade, MD. Flexibility to work additional hours is required. Required Clearance: Active high level clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a poly.
The Senior Cyber Range Engineer for JCTE will provide technical (back end) expertise to support large scale cyber exercises and multi-spectrum cyber operations. Duties include:
Position requires a minimum of 8 years of related work experience A minimum of 4 years of experience with CNO/CNE/CND platforms. 5 years of experience with cyber training, validation exercises, and working with cyber protection teams (CPTs), including planning, coordinating, and execution. Active high level clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a poly. Due to contract requirements, US citizenship is required. Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II or greater certification such as Security+, CCNA, CISSP or other equivalent certification. Expert working knowledge of networking, to include DNS, routing, basic to advanced TCP/IP skills and troubleshooting. Experience in MS, Active Directory, Security Onion, and VMWare. Demonstrated understanding and hands on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Identity Management (IdM) and Single Sign On (SSO) using Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP).

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
