Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a software engineer to build production systems for cyber data and operator workflows. You will deliver back-end services, APIs, and data pipelines at enterprise scale, leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.

The role emphasizes AI/analytics for decision support, observability, and reliable orchestration of complex cyber workflows, with ownership of technical delivery across features and services.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience building, shipping, and supporting production software in a professional environment.
• 3+ years building back-end services, APIs, data workflows, or platform components with Python.
• 2+ years working with Docker or Kubernetes, containers, and reproducible development or deployment workflows.
• 2+ years of experience building, deploying, or operating software on cloud platforms such as AWS.
• 2+ years designing or operating production systems that use databases, APIs, queues, caches, background jobs, or distributed-system patterns.
• 2+ years of experience owning technical delivery for a feature, service, product area, or engineering workstream.
• Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems.

• Make complex cyber workflows more reliable, observable, and repeatable at enterprise scale
