Qualifications

• BA in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering or related discipline is required.
• Strong knowledge of IP networking, cyber security and system engineering.
• Experience with optical transport technologies (DWDM, OTN, SONET/SDH).
• 8–10 years of related work experience in networking.
• Ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI clearance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure and troubleshoot real and test networks, including optical technologies.
• Evaluate security strengths and weaknesses of converged networks.
• Research solutions to challenging cyber security and networking problems.
• Communicate network architecture concepts clearly to stakeholders.
• Travel to customer sites and document results in reports.
