Job summary

CACI International Inc is seeking a Network Engineer in Florham Park, NJ. You will design and configure networks including DWDM, OTN, and SONET/SDH, while assessing security and performance across converged technologies.

You will translate customer requirements into robust cyber solutions to strengthen our nation’s cybersecurity posture. Requirements include 8–10 years of related experience, a BA in Network Engineering or related field, and the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

BA in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering or related discipline is required.
Strong knowledge of IP networking, cyber security and system engineering.
Experience with optical transport technologies (DWDM, OTN, SONET/SDH).
8–10 years of related work experience in networking.
Ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI clearance as needed.

Responsibilities

Design, configure and troubleshoot real and test networks, including optical technologies.
Evaluate security strengths and weaknesses of converged networks.
Research solutions to challenging cyber security and networking problems.
Communicate network architecture concepts clearly to stakeholders.
Travel to customer sites and document results in reports.
