Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) seeks a Cyber Security - Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) in Dayton, OH to support a government customer at Wright-Patterson AFB.

The ISSE will lead security engineering activities, ensure architecture-level safeguards, and coordinate with Systems Engineering to embed cyber resiliency during the SDLC. The role requires DoD/regulatory compliance expertise, strong communication skills, and ability to work with defense contractors to implement

Competenze

• 18+ years' cybersecurity/IT experience with focus on security implementations.
• Knowledge of DoD 8500.1-M, DoDM 5205.07, JSIG, NIST 800-53, ICD 503.
• Excellent oral and written communication; ability to translate technical needs.

• Provide ISSE security engineering guidance across the SDLC.
• Design and develop security requirements to reduce risk while preserving operations.
• Interface with program managers to explain security risks and mitigations.
• Evaluate threats and vulnerabilities and propose timely safeguards.
