Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Cyber Threat (Forensics) Analyst, Senior Associate, to support a longstanding customer in Chantilly, VA. The role involves conducting host-based and network-based digital forensic examinations and delivering findings through technical reports and briefings.

The position requires a TS/SCI security clearance with poly, a High School Diploma plus 5+ years of related experience, and hands-on expertise with forensic tools such as EnCase, Autopsy, X-Ways, and Axiom.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with a minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Experience conducting digital forensics on Windows, OS X, and Linux.
• Experience with EnCase, Autopsy, X-Ways, Axiom and other forensic tools.
• Experience writing technical reports and briefing findings to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct host-based and network-based digital forensic examinations using industry-standard tools.
• Support criminal and national security investigations with forensic findings.
• Brief technical results to a variety of audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.
