Job summary

Google Cloud's Mandiant unit is hiring a Senior Cyber Defense Senior Analyst to enable efficient incident response within a Cyber Defense Center. You will work with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver recommendations for incident detection and response capabilities across client environments.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in cybersecurity, strong SIEM/EDR skills, and experience with incident response planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Cybersecurity or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years cybersecurity experience with EDR and SIEM.
• Experience leading incident response activities.

Responsibilities

• Identify issues in client CDCs and drive improvement plans.
• Perform real-time SIEM/EDR-based analysis to detect events.
• Advise on CDC/CSIRT and SOC management activities.
• Leverage threat intelligence and MITRE ATT&CK to improve detections.
• Collaborate with client teams to resolve security issues.
