Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Engineering, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or equivalent.
• Seven years of directly related experience in cyber engineering or a related field.
• Experience with Tenable products regarding vulnerability and compliance scanning.
• Experience with scripting languages (XML, Perl, Ruby, Python, Bash, JavaScript).
• Experience with reviewing and integrating CIS and DISA security guidance.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux systems administration, networking, and security practices.
• Designing and developing new cyber systems, applications, and solutions.
• Conducting vulnerability assessments and security evaluations of new technologies.
• Integrating and deploying new cyber solutions into enterprise environments.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Research and Development: Investigate emerging technologies and vulnerabilities to enhance enterprise cyber systems.
• System Design and Architecture: Create cyber system designs meeting security requirements.
• Prototype Development: Build proofs‑of‑concept to demonstrate feasibility of new cyber tech.
• Testing and Validation: Validate performance, security, and compliance of new systems.
• Integration and Deployment: Oversee deployment with minimal operational disruption.
• Documentation: Produce design specs, test reports, and user guides.
