Job summary

U.S. Army at Fort Meade, MD seeks a qualified auditor for DoD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system duties at the U.S. Cyber Command. The role focuses on overseeing audits of complex functions and providing expert analysis on accounting and risk management within a highly secure environment.

The incumbent will present findings to senior leaders and act as a SME for internal/external agencies, supporting inspections, surveys, and audit recommendations.

Qualifications

• Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
• Background investigation may be required.
• Three year trial/probationary period may be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee audits encompassing assessment of USCYBERCOM’s broadly related and highly complex functions.
• Performs the most complex analysis and evaluations related to all aspects of accounting, management control and risk management.
• Performs a variety of audits that are usually without precedent and require the use of advanced auditing techniques in gathering and evaluating pertinent data.
• Explains findings and supports the supervisor and other Command leaders in presentations to higher echelon authorities.
• Serves as the USCC accounting SME for internal/external agencies regarding inspections, surveys, and/or audit findings and recommendations.
