Job summary

BAE Systems in Colorado is seeking a Cyber Analyst Senior – ISSO to serve as a technical advisor for IS security requirements, interpret RMF, and implement program security plans to ensure compliance with government and company rules.

Responsibilities include supporting ATO processing, executing RMF activities, conducting risk and vulnerability assessments, maintaining configuration management for IS components, and using Splunk and Tenable Nessus for monitoring.

Qualifications

• Related Bachelor’s and 4 or more years of related experience.
• Higher-level degrees may substitute for experience.
• Related certifications may count towards experience.
• Degree from an accredited university or college.
• Current TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI Polygraph.
• Ability to identify and respond to potential cyber threats.
• 8140 compliant certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Support IS security manager in obtaining and maintaining ATOs with accurate ownership artifacts.
• Execute RMF activities across programs; develop security documentation and manage POA&M.
• Perform continuous monitoring and ensure artifacts comply with cognizant authority.
• Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments on classified systems.
• Maintain configuration management for IS components.
• Use Splunk and Tenable Nessus to support monitoring and vulnerability assessment.
• Leverage Windows and Linux for RMF-related evaluations.
• Serve as technical expert for cybersecurity policy and accreditation.
• Promote information security awareness across the program.
• Maintain a regular on-site work schedule and collaborate within the department.
