Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Data Scientist to architect and operationalize AI-driven capabilities supporting USCYBERCOM. The role emphasizes automated AI workflows, secure cloud deployments, and end-to-end cyber operations integration across OCO and DCO.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years in cyber engineering or data science, strong Python/SQL/Java skills, and doD 8140/8570 certifications. TS/SCI with polygraph is required at the time of application.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in cyber engineering, data science, or software development.
• Expert proficiency in Python, SQL, and Java; experience with LLMOps, RAG patterns, and vector databases.
• Deep understanding of OCO/DCO tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and the USCYBERCOM mission roadmap.
• DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II/III requirements (e.g., CISSP, GCIH, or CEH).
• Top Secret (TS), SCI and Polygraph clearance at time of application.
• Role may require extended hours including up to 12-hour shifts, 7 days per week during peak demand.

Responsibilities

• Integrated Mission Automation: design AI agents and workflows to automate JOPP and synchronise OCO/DCO activities.
• Full-Spectrum Tool Development: build AI-powered platforms for cyber operations with automated data pipelines.
• Secure Cloud Ops: deploy and scale AI/ML models in AWS/Azure GovCloud with Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Operational Intelligence Integration: align AI planning with mission timelines for real-time insights.
• Tactical AI/ML Engineering: deliver production-ready software to automate remediation and hardening.
