Job summary

Entegris is seeking a Senior Engineer, Customer Quality Engineering to join our team in a cross‑functional CQE role. The ideal candidate will interact with customers, sales, and internal teams to drive problem solving, audits, and continuous improvement across North America and Asia.

The position requires a BS in a technical field, 5+ years in quality/engineering, and the ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally. Location options include Hillsboro, OR or Aurora, IL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electric/Electronic Engineering, or related technical field.
• 5+ years experience in an engineering role in quality, process, equipment or materials.
• Experience managing issues and projects between internal stakeholders and customers with escalation experience.
• Project management with focus on closing gaps between company capabilities and customer needs.
• Experience with quality tools such as Pareto, FMEA’s, SPC/SQC, histograms, trend analysis, process mapping, DOE, cause and effect diagrams, and 8D.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, sales teams and internal teams per CQE policies.
• Execute CQE responsibilities per Entegris processes and account plans.
• Support Materials Solutions Division.
• Participate in problem solving, audits, project development and cross‑functional tasks.
• Collaborate across global teams to improve customer success.
• Demonstrate planning, execution, discipline, learning, leadership and teamwork.
