Job summary

Colorado State University is seeking a Senior Cultural Resources Specialist to provide technical and administrative support for NHPA obligations across the Joint Region Marianas, including Guam and CNMI. Responsibilities include coordinating Section 106 actions, preparing technical documentation, and conducting archaeological surveys and monitoring.

Applicants should have a Master's in archaeology or related field, 3+ years of post-graduate experience, and proficiency with MS Office and Adobe

Qualifications

• Master's degree in anthropology or archaeology as per 36 CFR Part 61.
• Minimum of 3 years post-graduate archaeology experience or completed field school.
• Proficient in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat; strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support NHPA compliance programs and agreements; track Section 106 consultations and maintain databases.
• Prepare annual, quarterly, and monthly reports; manage records and digital archives.
• Conduct archaeological fieldwork, site monitoring, and data collection.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement and support programmatic agreements workshops.
