Job summary

NVIDIA is hiring senior engineers to work on the CUDA driver, a core component of our platform for accelerating general purpose computation on the GPU. Our team delivers features and improvements for diverse workloads spanning deep learning, scientific computing, gaming, and autonomous vehicles.

You will be involved in design, simulation in pre-silicon environments, silicon bring-up, and production software deployment.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Engineering, CS, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years of relevant systems software development experience
• Strong C programming skills and knowledge of parallel programming
• Experience with OS interfaces for threads, processes, and virtual memory
• Experience writing and debugging multithreaded programs
• Background with large codebases
• Excellent written communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Develop software on pre-silicon environments (simulation/emulation)
• Own CUDA enablement for new silicon and architecture
• Collaborate with SW, HW and other teams to develop and productize CUDA features
• Promote and implement new CUDA features and bring up on new chips
• Contribute to improvements to CUDA APIs and programming model
• Write maintainable, well-tested code across multiple operating systems
