Mercy is seeking a Senior CT Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic CT imaging and lead the team as needed. You will ensure imaging excellence, patient safety, and adherence to protocols while communicating effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.

The role includes acting as a training resource, guiding orientation, and supporting colleagues in a fast-paced clinical setting. Experience with ARRT CT and BLS is preferred.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited imaging program with completed clinical hours.
• Minimum two years of relevant CT experience.
• State licensure may be required depending on practice state.
• ARRT (CT) certification and BLS required.

Mansioni

• Lead CT team when leadership is unavailable and act as a resource.
• Assist in orientation and training of new staff.
• Maintain imaging standards and ensure patient safety during procedures.

This role requires proficiency and thorough understanding of operating imaging equipment and procedures while ensuring patient safety and maintaining imaging standards. Responsibilities include serving as a lead, when leadership is unavailable, serving as a resource, assisting in orientation, and training. Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals is essential for providing optimal care.

Position Details:

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and the required clinical hours have been completed.

Experience: 2 years of relevant experience

Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.

Certification/Registration: ARRT (CT) ; Basic Life Support (BLS)

Physical Requirements:

Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
