Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Senior CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic CT imaging and support patient care. The role includes leading when leadership is unavailable and acting as a resource for orientation and training of staff.

The ideal candidate has graduated from an accredited imaging program, completed required clinical hours, and holds ARRT CT certification with BLS. State licensure may be required depending on practice location.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program with required clinical hours.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant CT experience.
• State licensure may be required depending on practice location.
• ARRT CT certification/registration and BLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and imaging standards.
• Serve as a lead when leadership is unavailable; act as a resource and trainer.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to support care.
• Assist in orientation and training of team members.

This role requires proficiency and thorough understanding of operating imaging equipment and procedures while ensuring patient safety and maintaining imaging standards. Responsibilities include serving as a lead, when leadership is unavailable, serving as a resource, assisting in orientation, and training. Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals is essential for providing optimal care.

Position Details:

Minimum Qualifications:Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and the required clinical hours have been completed.Experience: 2 years of relevant experienceLicensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.Certification/Registration: ARRT (CT) ; Basic Life Support (BLS)
