Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a CT Technologist supervisor to oversee staff, perform inpatient CT procedures, and ensure imaging quality in line with department policies. You will mentor colleagues, train new staff, participate in QA, standardization initiatives, and help maintain scanner protocols; strong judgment and patient interaction are essential.

A sign-on bonus of $30,000 is offered with a 3-year commitment; required qualifications include an Associate's degree and ARRT or NMTCB

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year program.
• One of the following sets of certifications is required: NMTCB CNMT and CT certification OR ARRT RT(R) and CT certification; or 2 years' CT experience.
• CPR certification (AHA) and background clearances required.
• HIPAA compliance and privacy policy familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Oversees essential CT technologist duties and patient communication.
• Mentors staff and trains new personnel within the department.
• Participates in quality assurance, regulatory testing, and accreditation prep.
• Contributes to standardization and process-improvement projects.
• Maintains CT scanner protocols and supports chief tech duties.
