Qualifications
2-4 years of clinical experience in a radiologic sciences program required.
3-5 years of experience as a CT Technologist in an acute care hospital preferred.
Responsibilities
Performs CT imaging procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
Prepares patients for CT exams, screening for contraindications.
Explains procedures clearly to alleviate fear and anxiety.
Administers contrast media as ordered and monitors for reactions.
Assists in interventional CT procedures and ensures patient comfort.
Adheres to radiation protection standards to minimize exposure.
Skills
Proficiency in CT imaging techniques
Strong understanding of radiation protection principles
Ability to recognize and respond to emergency conditions
Expertise in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
