Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a field supporting financial or cyber investigations as determined by DEA.
• 5+ years of experience in blockchain analysis and cryptocurrency investigations.
• Proficiency with blockchain analytics tools (Chainalysis, TRM Labs, CipherTrace).
• Knowledge of drug diversion enforcement and illicit finance techniques.
• Strong analytical, report-writing, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct blockchain forensic analysis to trace illicit cryptocurrency activity and support financial investigations.
• Develop investigative leads through wallet clustering, mixing analysis, and darknet monitoring.
• Integrate cryptocurrency evidence into financial case files and provide training to DEA personnel.
• Prepare written reports, exhibits, and expert testimony when required.
