About the Role: As a CBRE Data Center Sr. Technician, you will perform preventative maintenance and complex corrective repairs within a Data Center operation. This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments. What You’ll Do: • Manage daily site inspections of all Mechanical & Engineering systems and technical equipment, including servicing and maintenance. • Ensure the site's environmental conditions provide a safe work environment. • React to Building Management System alarms, and complete emergency repairs as needed. • Make sure third parties and vendors follow compliance with company-developed processes, procedures, and all applicable laws and regulations. Accompany vendor’s on-site visits as needed and ensure site standards are met. • Verify subcontractor performance meets all requirements per the Master Service Agreement. • Complete planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on all equipment. Assist staff with tricky situations. • Check BMS for running and alarm conditions and respond to complex HVAC-related client problems. • Review meter readings from UPS, PDU and utilities to ensure accurate information is documented. • Provide Mechanical and Electrical troubleshooting. Provide fixes to facility and plant faults and defects. • Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out maintenance at the site. • Complete assigned work according to established processes and procedures. Follow all safety processes and requirements and confirm all regulatory requirements and quality standards are met. • Operate a permit-to-work system under the company’s health and safety procedures. Verify that appropriate controls are within the Permit-to-Work systems. • Ensure that ACOP’s applicable to the maintenance industry procedures. • Conduct routine quality checks for comprehensive maintenance records. • Help create and develop work processes, Job Hazard Analysis reports, and SOPs for critical work with risk assessment. Ensure that CERM documents and logbooks are updated. • Complete all required training to ensure successful completion of all job-related responsibilities. • Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them. • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. • Impact the quality of own work. • Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. • Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.What You’ll Need:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The minimum salary for the Sr Data Center Technician position is $65,000 annually [or $31.25 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Sr Data Center Technician position is $85,000 annually [or $40.86 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
