Job summary

AHMC Healthcare Inc. seeks a Manager of Critical Care Services (ICU & Cath Lab) to lead service development, personnel management and resource allocation, ensuring high-quality patient care.

The role assumes 24-hour administrative responsibility for critical care nursing services and directs performance improvement initiatives. Qualifications include a BSN (Master's preferred) with five years ICU/Cath Lab experience and California RN licensure; BLS/ACLS and MAB certification are required, CCRN

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing preferred; Master's in Science desired.
• Five years of ICU and/or Cath Lab experience with progressive management responsibility is desired.

Responsibilities

• Defines standards of ICU and Cath Lab department and develops processes to measure compliance.
• Develops and evaluates ICU and Cath Lab programs ensuring quality patient care.
• Monitors regulatory, accrediting and hospital policy compliance for patient services.
• Oversees a PI program monitoring critical aspects of care.
• Oversees patient satisfaction in ICU and Cath Lab.
• Participates in budget preparation and manages approved expenditures.
• Coaches subordinates and documents performance annually.
• Manages department's operational excellence and fiscal resources.
• Communicates information to staff and participates in hospital committees.
