Job summary

Maania Consultancy Services seeks a senior SIEM/logging engineer to design and scale large telemetry pipelines in Reston area. You will drive production workflows, mentor engineers, and partner with security teams on encryption, RBAC, and compliance.

You will apply deep Cribl expertise alongside Splunk ingestion and AWS/Azure data movement to support enterprise-grade observability and incident response.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in logging, observability, or SIEM engineering.
• 5+ years architecting enterprise scale log/telemetry pipelines.
• 3+ years hands-on with Cribl Stream and Cribl Edge in production environments.
• Demonstrated success operating and scaling pipelines at 5–10+ TB/day.
• Expert-level experience with Splunk forwarding/ingestion, source type management, and indexing practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of secure data pipelines for large-scale telemetry.
• Mentor senior engineers and guide technical decision making.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to enforce RBAC, encryption, and data governance.
• Engage with Cribl PS and vendor teams on escalations and optimization.
