Job summary

Primary Services seeks a Senior Credit Risk Analyst in West Houston on a direct-hire basis. Hybrid work with two remote days per week, supporting international credit portfolios and high-value commercial transactions.

The role focuses on financial statement analysis, global credit portfolio management, SAP-based AR activities, and reconciliations, partnering with Finance, Treasury, Sales and international stakeholders to strengthen credit-to-cash processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field.
• 5+ years in credit risk analysis, accounts receivable, or credit-to-cash operations.
• Hands-on SAP experience including FI/FI-AR; familiarity with VKM1, F150, F-28, F-32, FD32/F.31.
• Experience in a large global organization; oil and gas or chemical industry preferred.
• Strong Excel skills with large data sets and PivotTables.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer financial statements and credit reports to assess risk and set credit limits.
• Manage credit exposure, risk ratings, credit insurance coverage and customer portfolios.
• Review blocked orders in SAP VKM1 per credit policies; perform cash application and reconciliations.
• Coordinate AR reconciliations and month-end reporting; support SAP dunning processes (F150).
• Collaborate with Sales, Treasury and international teams to resolve credit and payment issues.

The Senior Credit Risk Analyst will play a critical role in protecting financial performance and supporting commercial growth through effective credit risk management and cash operations. This position combines financial statement analysis, global credit portfolio management, SAP-based accounts receivable activities, and financial reconciliations. Working closely with Finance, Treasury, Sales, and international stakeholders, the Senior Credit Risk Analyst will evaluate customer creditworthiness, manage financial exposure, and help strengthen credit-to-cash processes across a complex global business.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer financial statements, credit reports, and payment histories to assess financial risk and establish credit limits.
• Manage credit exposure, risk ratings, credit insurance coverage, and customer account portfolios.
• Review and release blocked sales orders using SAP transaction VKM1 in accordance with credit policies.
• Perform cash application, account clearing, and reconciliation activities using SAP FI/FI-AR.
• Investigate payment discrepancies, deductions, unapplied cash, and outstanding customer balances.
• Conduct accounts receivable reconciliations and support month-end financial reporting activities.
• Manage collections reviews and execute SAP dunning processes using transaction F150.
• Coordinate Letters of Credit, banking relationships, and credit insurance requirements.
• Monitor compliance with credit policies, payment terms, and asset-backed securitization requirements.
• Develop global credit, collections, and sales reports to support financial analysis and leadership decisions.
• Partner with Sales, Treasury, Accounting, and international business stakeholders to resolve credit and payment issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related business field required.
• 5+ years of experience in credit risk analysis, accounts receivable, or credit-to-cash operations required.
• Hands-on SAP experience required, including SAP FI/FI-AR and transaction-level processing.
• Experience with SAP transaction codes such as F-28, F-32, FD32/F.31, F150, and VKM1 strongly preferred.
• Experience working within a large, global organization required.
• Experience reviewing financial statements, evaluating customer creditworthiness, and establishing credit limits.
• Experience performing account reconciliations, cash application, collections, and AR discrepancy investigations.
• Experience in the oil and gas or chemical industry required.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including PivotTables, Power Query, and large data sets.
• Experience with credit insurance, Letters of Credit, asset-backed securitization, or trade finance preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred, not required.
• Availability to work a hybrid schedule in West Houston, with two remote days per week.
