Job summary

Bounce AI in New York City is seeking a Credit Portfolio Risk Analyst to help build and scale the risk function. You will underwrite portfolios, forecast collections, and develop pricing while partnering with CRO and Data Science to support capital decisions.

You will own performance tracking, identify gaps, and contribute to standard-setting for underwriting, reporting, and risk appetite. This is a high-impact, early-stage role with live capital decisions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in credit risk, portfolio analytics, structured or related finance fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.
• Strong SQL skills to write non-trivial queries against large data warehouses.
• Strong financial modeling skills: IRR, MOIC, NPV, cash flow, sensitivity, vintage analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills with large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Acquisition Underwriting: build loan-level forecasts and bid pricing; set pricing.
• Portfolio Surveillance: track IRR/MOIC vs targets; flag underperformance.
• Building the Function: establish risk playbook, standardize analyses, document processes.
