Fitch Ratings in New York is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst for Utilities & Midstream coverage. You will build and maintain financial models, engage with company management, and present findings to rating committees.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in credit analysis, strong Excel/Word skills, and a collaborative, results-driven work style. This is a full-time in-office role with a global finance team.

Qualifications

• 3 years relevant experience, some coverage or knowledge of Utilities and Midstream a plus.
• Capital markets and/or credit analysis experience a plus.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis of key quantitative and qualitative factors influencing credit quality of Utilities & Midstream companies.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models.
• Conduct meetings with management teams.
• Present analysis to internal credit rating committees.
• Communicate rating rationale to external audiences (institutional investors, sell-side analysts, media).
• Write timely and effective research on topical issues.
• Participate in evaluation of other credits within Corporates and related groups.
• Represent Fitch in panel discussions and industry conferences.
• Mentor junior members of the Utilities & Midstream sector.
