Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers, make credit decisions within delegated authority, and partner with Sales and Collections to manage credit risk across our global customer base.

You will analyze financial statements, credit reports, and references; monitor accounts for risk, propose credit limits and terms, and present clear recommendations to management in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial B2B credit analysis experience.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business or related field.
• Professional designation in credit, finance, or risk management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements, credit reports, bank & trade references to assess credit risk.
• Review and approve commercial credit applications within authority levels.
• Monitor customer accounts and identify emerging credit risks.
• Escalate significant credit concerns and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
• Manage credit exposure and adjust limits, terms, and risk classifications.
• Partner with Sales and Collections to support growth while protecting assets.
• Prepare concise credit analyses and recommendations.
• Make timely credit decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Present credit recommendations to management as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
