Job summary

DP World in Elizabeth, NJ is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to lead the development and implementation of credit policies for our Freight Forwarding and Contract Logistics units. You will manage the customer credit application process, review creditworthiness, and approve credit limits and payment terms.

This role requires an undergraduate finance degree and 5–7 years of credit-analysis experience in logistics, with a track record of policy development.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Finance or a related discipline.
• Have a minimum of 5 - 7 years’ strong experience credit analyst
• Experienced in developing and implementing policies
• Experience in the logistics industry, with a focus on the freight forwarding vertical

Responsibilities

• Directly manage the credit functions for contract logistics and freight forwarding activities
• Assist in the implementation of credit controls for contract logistics and freight forwarding
• Review and assess creditworthiness of customers and grant appropriate credit limit and payment terms
