Financial Pacific Leasing, Inc. is seeking a credit underwriting professional to evaluate equipment finance opportunities and make informed decisions within set limits. The role involves financial statement spreading, risk rating, and formal credit memos, ensuring alignment with bank policies and program guidelines.

Established in 1975, Financial Pacific Leasing, Inc. (a subsidiary of Columbia Bank), is a direct provider of small-ticket commercial equipment leases. FinPac originates business through partnering with vendors, third party originators and lessors nationwide. Responsible for credit, equipment and underwriting decisions within assigned limits and consistent with the policies and programs of the company. Conduct financial analysis and periodic relationship performance evaluations based on FinPac's annual review guidelines. Make credit decisions within assigned limits consistent with FinPac and Bank credit policies and guidelines Review credits above assigned limit and make recommendations to credit management. Review designated programs and perform financial analysis on Vendor/TPO partners as part of annual or periodic performance reviews. Spread financial statements, complete risk rating assessments and complete formal credit memos using tools and formats designated by FinPac and/or the bank. Act as liaison between Credit and Business Development to evaluate and recommend programmatic changes based on portfolio performance. Review program and transaction documentation to assess risk issues and elevate concerns as appropriate. Distribute material and explain to underwriting teams updated guidance on portfolio review findings and risk considerations. Troubleshoot, analyze and remedy internal issues in a timely and efficient manner within established guidelines. Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities - knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes. Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training. Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description. May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert. Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Columbia corporate culture in all actions and words. The pay range for this role is $29.80 - $40.00. The pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
