Job summary

BNC National Bank in Bismarck, ND is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to join our Credit Administration team. This role focuses on complex commercial credit analysis and underwriting, with mentoring responsibilities for junior staff.

You will analyze borrower financials, cash flow, collateral, and risk, preparing memorandums and recommendations to support high-value transactions. Onsite location in Bismarck, ND.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressive commercial underwriting and/or credit analysis experience.
• Experience in commercial real estate, C&I, and SBA lending.
• Previous mentoring/training experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex commercial credit analysis and underwriting
• Analyze borrower financials, cash flow, collateral, repayment capacity, and overall credit risk
• Prepare and present comprehensive credit memorandums
• Make recommendations regarding risk ratings, loan structure, covenants, collateral, and risk mitigation
• Support complex and higher-risk commercial transactions
• Mentor and coach members of the underwriting team
• Serve as a resource for credit policy, underwriting practices, and complex transactions
• Contribute to process improvement and the continued development of our Credit function

BNC National Bank is looking for a Senior Credit Analyst to join our Credit Administration team!

This is a senior-level opportunity for someone who enjoys the technical side of commercial credit analysis and underwriting while also having an interest in mentoring, coaching, and developing other credit professionals.

In this role, you will:
