Job summary

Southway Crane & Rigging, Inc. is seeking an experienced full-time Crane/Truck Mechanic to maintain and repair cranes, forklifts, and other equipment at our North Augusta branch. The role requires diagnosing faults, performing inspections, and ensuring compliance with OEM specifications.

Candidates should have 3–7 years of mobile crane experience, strong knowledge of CANBUS, PAT, ECOS, LICCON systems, and the ability to work overtime. Valid driver's license and TWIC card are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–7 years of mobile crane mechanic experience.
• Experience with CANBUS, PAT, ECOS and LICCON systems.
• Ability to read operating manuals and technical drawings.
• Able to diagnose, repair and maintain crane/truck equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supply your own tools with up-to-date inventory.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on cranes, forklifts and equipment.
• Document all maintenance and repairs with proper records.
• Maintain a strong work ethic and quality focus.
• Work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and work overtime when needed.
• Pass drug screen and background check.
