Job summary

AbbVie in Orlando is seeking a Clinical Research Monitor to advance our clinical trials by ensuring site performance, data integrity and patient safety in alignment with GCP and regulatory standards.

You will partner with investigators and site staff, train and mentor junior CRAs, and use CRM tools to track engagement, while continuously seeking process improvements and ensuring quality study conduct across assigned programs.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in health-related disciplines; clinical research monitoring experience preferred.
• Familiar with risk-based monitoring approaches and GCP guidelines.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and manage site relationships.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for investigative site and ensure trial conduct.
• Train and motivate site staff and PI on trial goals and patient care principles.
• Conduct site evaluation, training, monitoring with GCP/compliance adherence.
• Engage sites, report progress using CRM and measure engagement impact.
• Mentor junior CRAs and participate in global/local task forces as assigned.
• Monitor risk signals and implement preventive/corrective actions with Central Monitoring.
