Job summary

ICON Strategic Solutions seeks a Senior Clinical Research Associate to oversee monitoring of orthopedic device trials in a sponsor-dedicated model. The role requires independence, cross-functional collaboration, and a focus on data integrity and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS in a scientific field, 3–5 years of CRA experience in CRO/pharma, and familiarity with GCP. Travel ~60% with some Canada travel expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or healthcare field.
• 3–5 years of CRA monitoring experience in CRO/pharma environments.
• Medical device experience preferred but not required.
• Orthopedic experience is a plus but not essential.
• Experience in sports medicine, trauma or related areas is beneficial.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor clinical trial sites for protocol adherence and GCP compliance.
• Conduct site visits to assess performance and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely data collection and reporting.
• Provide training and guidance to site staff and CRAs.
• Build and maintain relationships with site personnel and stakeholders.
